A film that you should watch. Why?

[A visual miracle]
Film is extremely attractive in term of visual effects. Beautiful nature in India. ROMANTIC places for couples. GORGEOUS scences at night on the river. GLAMOUR of SPARKLING light in the ocean. In short, it’s AMAZING! Just one minor comment on this: sometimes, in some scenes, too much effects somehow ruin the beauty of itself 🙂

[A simple rule – How the name “Pi” was born]
If you want people to recognize you, start doing things DIFFERENTLY, and keep doing it with creativeness. Finally, people will look at you the way you want them to.

[A hard-to-believe adventure]
What happen if you are thrown right in the middle of nowhere on the spacious ocean? And between being “ALONE” and “WITH A FIERCEFUL TIGER”, which one do you prefer at your first thought? In our life, sometimes we feel like we’d better being alone doing things. But in fact, having a partner either supports you or against you is a MUST as it helps SHARPEN you thru this TOUGH LIFE.

[A life of hope]
When the storm comes, Pi shouts out happily to greet the angry storm as if he saw god. Crazy? Mad? Psycho? Then he shouts “GOD, you gave me EVERYTHING, and then TOOK IT BACK. You took my mom, my dad, my brother, my food, my life. What else do you want to take from me now?”. When people are squeezed out to the LAST DROP OF HOPE, they’ll start SCREAMING BACK AT LIFE and start behave abnormally, until they see another reason to survive. If you meet one, HELP them!

Through this film, I also send my appreciation to my boss who is a model for me to follow. I have learnt a lot from you but I don’t realize until I’m in difficult situation. Just like Pi, he only appreciates what his dad taught him until he’s stuck on the sea. I see myself thru Pi. You are like my second father, who teaches me to be brave, to better control emotion, to balance work & life, and to be passionate with everything. (Should I copy & paste this in an email to him tomorrow as he doesn’t have a fb account? 😛)

A film with emotion left inside is a great film.
If you like this type of film, go watch it! 😉

(I wrote this review in the evening the day I heard that my ex-boss, Elio, would leave Kraft. That news struck me badly and left so much emotions on me)
